CAMP ALL-STAR GAME

Tay Fisher's Fundamental Basketball Camp was established in the summer of 2005. It started at Kingston High School, where Tay went to high school and made a name for himself by working hard and never giving up. Therefore, which led him to a Division I school, Siena College.

Tay went to Siena College and recieved a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Education, however coaching is an area he has always had a passion for. So he and his former Junior Varisty coach, Mark Wyncoop, decided to start a basketball clinic. This clinic started as a 2 day clinic to help kids become better players in basketball and with hopes that they can move in the right direction.

In 2005 and 2006 the clinic was a co-ed clinic, which consisted of 2 sessions, for 3 hrs. 20-25 total kids ages ranging from 12-17 years old showed up and learned alot of great material from Tay Fisher and his coaching staff.

In 2007, Tay Fisher decided to split the co-ed and just have sessions for the boys and girls seperatly. It was a huge success because the number of campers increased. As the camp numbers increased, the days and hours expanded as well. It went from a 2 day, 2 hour clinic to a 3 day, 3 hour clinic.

In 2008, it was no longer considered a clinic, but rather a camp. After Tay Fisher ended his career at Siena on such a great note and the Siena Saints were able to make a name for themselves, Tay knew the clinic had to be changed into a camp. The camp was a week long (5 days), added an extra hr (4hrs long) and age group(7-9), changed the t-shirt design, and expanded his camp to other regions(Saratoga Springs High School and Troy High School). Tay averaged about 25 kids a session in the previous years, but now every age group increased dramatically.  Players from all around the area wanted to be apart of his basketball camp and they became better players in 5 days.
